Janice M. Warner, MD, FAAD, FACMS

Dr. Janice Warner graduated from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers Medical School in 1983, where she was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She then completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital (1983) followed by both Internal Medicine (1984-1986) and Dermatology (1988-1991) Residencies at Emory University where she also received a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in 1992.


Dr. Warner is board certified in both Internal Medicine 1986 and Dermatology 1991. She is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, and American Academy of Dermatology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Warner was President of the Atlanta Dermatological Association, 2002 and is a Top Doctor in Atlanta Magazine, 2002 to 2020 and Castle Connelly’s Top Doctor 2012 to 2020.  She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, The American College of Mohs Surgery,  The Atlanta Dermatologic Association and The Georgia Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

She had the unique honor of being a part of the Medical Team for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and Co-Director for the Cambodia Program, Health Volunteers of America, 2007-2009.

Dr. Catherine Warner

Catherine G. Warner, MD, FAAD

Dr. Catherine Gupta Warner is an ABD board certified dermatologist and ACGME accredited fellowship trained pediatric dermatologist. She has extensive experience in treating adults with a specialty in the care of children.

 

An Atlanta native, Dr. Warner attended Atlanta International School before attending Williams College in Massachusetts. She completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia followed by dermatology training at Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After residency, she completed an extra year of pediatric fellowship training at UCSD - Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Throughout her career, she has been active in academic life with multiple publications and speaking opportunities.

Dr. Catherine is a proud member of the American Academy of Dermatology, The Society of Pediatric Dermatology,  Atlanta Dermatologic Association and The Georgia Association of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

 

Dr. Warner is so happy to have returned to her hometown and to have joined her mother, Dr. Janice Warner, in practice at Atlanta West Dermatology, a practice her mom has built from the ground up over the last 30 years. She enjoys seeing people of all ages for treatment in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and feels very lucky to be the first mother-daughter practice in the city.

Lauren Henderson, MD, FAAD

Dr. Lauren Henderson is an ABD board certified dermatologist. She treats all skin conditions, with an interest in skin of color, and emphasis in hair and pigmentary disorders.

She is a Georgia native, and she attended Georgia public schools before matriculating to the University of Georgia. She completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she was inducted to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her dermatology training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.

Dr. Henderson is a member of American Academy of Dermatology, Skin of Color Society, Atlanta Dermatologic Association and The Georgia Association of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Henderson is excited to join Atlanta West Dermatology to continue the strong legacy established by Drs. Janice and Catherine Warner. She hopes to continue to help people feel confident about their skin and provide a collaborative and customized approach to health care.

Dr. Lauren Henderson, MD, FAAD

Patrick R. DeRouen, MMSc, PA-C

Patrick R. DeRouen graduated from Emory University School of Medicine, Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Degree, 2002. He began in general and vascular surgery, 2003-2006 and joined Atlanta West Dermatology in 2006.​

 

Patrick is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Janet Haley, APRN, earned two Bachelor of Science degrees: the first in 2009 in Health Services Administration with a minor in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida, and the second in 2016 in Nursing from the University of South Florida. In 2018 she earned  a  Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia.

​

Janet has worked in dermatology for six years prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner in Dermatology and has four years experience as a registered nurse at a plasma center. As a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners she has a comprehensive knowledge of a broad range of skin conditions. Fluent in English and Spanish, Janet delivers leading edge care to patients of all ages.
